The Exhibition « Arles,  Record of the Rhône, Twenty years of underwater excavations, ” at the Louvre museum from March 09th to June 25th 2012, immerse you in the Gaulle at the time of the antic Rome. Arise from a meticulous work of researches in the Rhône River, you will discover items from the rich past of the city with its impressive architecture, its intense commercial activity or items from the daily life. Rare and unique items are being exposed hence the famous bust of Cesar discovered in 2007.

The exhibition groups together collections of the Louvre museum, the museum Calvet of Avignon  and the museum of Turin and presents a unique occasion to discover this part of French history through exceptional items.
